Bao Bei Kitchen’s seafood, from thick mantis prawns to freshly caught fish varieties like mayau and red fish, underscores the commitment to quality ingredients. The Teochew steamed fish, served with a light and aromatic broth, along with fried fish accompanied by soy sauce and pork lard, are praised for their perfect balance between crispy and tender. The environment is just like those typical hawker place. However the atmosphere is clean and tidy. The service is fine but the serving part is abit slow. Anyway overall is acceptable. The foods are tasty and really fine. The ingredients are served fresh. The price is not cheap but acceptable with the portion and the ingredients. No much complaints on pricing. Remarks: All the noodles categories are not available every weekends.

Cheap, Fast, Good food. Come early if you want to eat 大炒. Remember to order the 怪味 (which is like asam taste very nice). 2024: Still not bad finally can eat spicy again. But the butter mantis like no more butter or plants taste alteady like change milk or something, still acceptable but prefer the previous taste. 2025: Cook Same, Another new Business Guy Come in. All items reprice or incrase portion (so the vege is back to RM10 again, but no Pork Lard) Maybe back to cheap price again? New boss say their seafood is fresher, we shall seee.. 人情味 :D

The food here is authentic and bursting with flavour. The prices are also reasonable for the portion and taste. The deep fried mantis prawn with special sauce is truly unique with its sweet and sour taste and crispy mantis prawns. It can get crowded on weekends, but the food gets served quickly. The service is also good. I will definitely visit again!

Very fresh seafood, the mantis prawn is thick and huge, and the fish (mayau and red fish红皂)is also very fresh. Teochew steamed is strongly recommended! We almost finished the soup from the steam fish! We had the fried fish with soy sauce and pork lard as well, it was very crispy but not too dry. The boss is also friendly and chatty. Come early and call in to book for the fish. Do expect a lot of people in weekends. If you want to escape the wait, go at 530pm or after 8pm. Great affordable fresh seafood!

Brought parents together for dinner. Surprisingly at this kind of location u get to enjoy delicious dish. We ordered seafood yee mee, the gravy was superb like shark fin soup. It comes with fresh seafood and 2 big ming prawn and it only cost rm 28. And guys u got to order lala mihun, their mihun is normal but the lala we have today was so fresh and it is being steamed with the right timing. The lala didn't feel hard. Very fresh very chewy. Niceee. The soup can fight with the famous lala restaurants nearby. And we have their famous chicken forgot the name but the gravy was like asam pedas fish. A lil bit sour but is very suitable for rice. Overall a good dinner experience. 4 dish include potato leaves we ordered sum up to RM 88. Price is very reasonable. With this quality of food, me and my family feel very very worth it. Must try! Will definitely revisit. Yum, satisfied

One of the most happening stalls in this foodcourt looking area. Came here on a Saturday around 645pm, we didn't have to wait since we didn't need to wait for a big table. I really recommend their special sauce to be either paired with fried chicken or fried mantis shrimp. The sauce is sourish and not spicy that made the dish appetising and not jelak. I like this the most among the 3 dishes I like. Wan tan spinach was also pretty good! Spinach still has good texture paired with the smooth sauce. On the other hand, the lala mee huon was alright for me. I was hoping this to surprise me the most but it didn't. It didn't bad but it has all the taste that I imagine a lala Meehuon would have.

This restaurant is amazing…it looks normal but actually not .. what i mean is their food The environment here is just like a normal hawker stall..but the place is actually quite clean The price here is abit expensive but still acceptable with the taste and the portion..so for me it not a big deal la Another thing is, bcoz the food is amazing, so that’s y u need to wait abit longer for ur food to be served. (As i know there is only 1 chef cooking ) What we ordered that day (怪味, 啦啦汤, 清炒番薯叶)… all tastes amazing
